Air Conditioning Repair

Keep your car’s cabin temperature comfortable for you and your passengers by properly maintaining your heating and air conditioning systems.

Heating and air conditioning systems wear gradually with regular use. Our shop offers quality air conditioning repair and other auto repair services to keep your automobile running smoothly.

Your vehicle’s heating and A/C systems keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Here’s how they work.

Heating systems consist of a heating system core (acts like a radiator behind the dashboard), fan, and hoses that run heat from the engine to the heating system core. A/C systems work similarly, bringing coolant to the fan to generate cold air. The air conditioner serves a dual function as it also operates your defroster during cold seasons. Unlike your home air conditioning and heating systems, your automobile’s A/C and heating units don’t run off electric components entirely; they utilize the engine’s warmth and cooling capacities to change temperature.

It’s important to make sure your heating and A/C systems are working properly.

Hoses can easily get congested or start leaking if they are not serviced properly. This may lead to inadequate or lack of cooling and heating capacities. Maintaining your units will keep your car comfortable for both you and your passengers.

Keep an eye out and bring your vehicle in if you experience any of the following:

  • A/C air is only slightly colder than outside air
  • Air coming from the unit smells moist, musty, or moldy
  • Heating does not warm up your vehicle in cold weather or only makes it slightly warmer than outside temperature
  • Defroster has a lag time when turned on, blows dirty air, or doesn’t work
  • A/C or heating systems only work when driving (not when idling) or do not blow air when the car is not in motion
  • Heater blows chilly air
  • A/C blows warm air
  • At the highest setting, vents do not blow out much air

Our shop will provide your vehicle with an extensive evaluation of heating and A/C systems, including:

  • Evaluation of interior controls and blower
  • Inspection of radiator coolant degree, hoses, pressure cap, and thermostat
  • Test compressor belt
  • Check for leakages/other damage
  • Pressure test for cooling system
  • Comparison of A/C pressure to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Test A/C for refrigerator holes
  • Inspection of interior vent air temperature level

Make sure you have the most relaxed, comfortable driving experience—don’t forget to have your heating and A/C systems inspected before the peak of the season. Call us and schedule your next auto air conditioning repair or other auto repair service. We look forward to introducing you to your future go-to mechanic!
